Exploring our wonderful local area to learn about events of the past
This page has been designed to offer an alternative to learning online, It offers a range of suggestions from going to a walk through places steeped in history, to engaging in outdoor activities and carefully planned trails. This is something you should explore e=with an adult or as a family. Please ensure that any walks/trails that you do engage with are in line with social distancing and abide by the regulations set out by the government in relation to Covid 19.
Please note paper copies of all the resources below can be arranged for your use if you don’t have quick and easy access to the internet. Please contact school.
Here’s an opportunity to learn away from the screen in the outdoors and to enjoy finding more about our local heritage whilst taking some exercise together. This is a great learning trail that’s suitable for all ages, with parents and carers taking as much of a role as your child needs.
Our very own planned history trail.
