Children are assessed regularly throughout school to ensure that all children are making good progress. Outcomes of assessments at the end of Key Stage 1 (year 2) and the end of Key stage 2 (Year 6) are collated nationally to compare the performance of all schools. We use this information to help us evaluate how well we are doing and identify areas for further development.
We are incredibly proud of all our children and how well our school performed in comparison with other schools nationally. In 2019 we have seen significant improvements in how well our children do in Reading, Writing and Maths by the time they leave our school. Combined outcomes (number of children achieving the expected in Reading Writing and Maths) at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6), has increased by 30% in the last three years.
A summary of our results and an explanation of what it means is detailed below as well as a link to the Department for Education's school performance website. Please note our summaries include information or the end of the academic year 2018-19 as well as 2017-18 and the school performance tables are still showing information from the end of the 2017-18 academic year.
