If you have walked round the Beaconside site, you can't fail to have noticed the red double-decker bus parked on the playground.  We were absolutely delighted to be given it by Stagecoach who also arranged for it to be decommissioned and installed on our playground.

We are currently raising funds to convert it into an exciting reading and learning space for all of the children in the school.  We are delighted to have raised £1,065 from events last year and £910 from our "name a book" scheme so far....

How would you like your name on the bus? 

In keeping with the theme of reading, we are going to decorate the outside of the bus with books, and if you "buy" a book, you can choose the title of the book that you would like to be printed on the spine.  Download a "book" form here
